What is it?

Gano refers to ganoderma lucidum, a medicinal mushroom. The fungus grows in the tropics on wood fiber. It is reputed to have many medicinal properties, including over 100 various anti-oxidants, long-chain polysaccharides and other beneficial substances.

The mushroom has a 4000 year history of use in China, and has been used in soups, broths and in healthy “herbal” brews, where it has come to be held in high regard as a kind of “longevity tonic.” Known in China as Ling zhi (or “herb of spiritual potency”), the red mushroom has become a regular part of the normal Chinese regimen for such things as longevity, systemic balancing, and high level maintenance of the respiratory system as well as the ultimate tonic for prevention of just about everything that ails the human body.

GanoExcel has created delicious preparations of coffees, teas and other products containing the good essences of the mushroom.
